Apparently millions of people have iPads now, but I don’t. I know a few people who do have them, and they rant and rave about how great they are.
All you really need to know about the iPad is that you can blend it in a blender, cover it with chocolate, and do awesome magic tricks with it. You can also buy a USB typewriter if you want a “real” keyboard; you’ll be double the hipster.
Still, I found this article in the Harvard Business Review and thought it had a perspective that deserved sharing: “Why I Returned My iPad” by Peter Bregman.
Somehow Apple makes us all have crushes on inanimate objects. I have a Mac myself—always have—so I am no exception. If I ever get an iPad, I’ll probably spend some time on this great blog, iPad Creative. If you skip all the Apple news posts, there are some amazing uses and bass-ackward retrofits for the iPad. Pointing you all toward this blog was pretty much the point of this post.
