I like candy. I’m pretty sure everyone does.
I also fly around sometimes, and when I fly airlines based in the United States, they serve cookies. I’m talking about Biscoff cookies, and I like them because they are crisp and have pretty basic ingredients (the ingredients list on the package doesn’t include any unidentifiable chemicals).
I like these cookies, and I like baking, so I figured there must be a rip-off recipe on the Internet somewhere. As it turns out, there is (here), so today I made delicious cookies!
This inspired me to hunt down other rip-off candy recipes… and share them with you! Note that many of these recipes are vegan or can easily be made vegan.

I have been out of North America for a while so I’ve missed the last few Halloweens, but now I’m back and the season nigh upon us. It saddens me that giving out homemade candy at Halloween has become socially illegal (for unfortunate but understandable reasons), but you can still serve it to guests (and eat it yourself!).
