How did I spend Day 13 of my 30 Days of Creativity? I worked. But after that, my husband I walked to the Indian take-out place for some chick peas and roti. On the way, we composed a few limericks. (What’s a limerick?)
I once knew a petulant child.
His manner? Misleadingly mild.
He climbed up a tree
And injured his knee.
After that, he was hardly so wild.
There once was a gamboling goose
Who played his cards too fast and loose.
At gambling, he’d failed;
He was sentenced and jailed
But there wasn’t a long enough noose.
Two cops bought some cheap, greasy take-out
To bring on their very long stake-out.
They sat in their car,
Ate a chocolate bar.
In the end, there were two kinds of break-out.
OK, they’re not that great. But we had a fun walk!
