The Real Life Artist blog focuses on creative work that is uplifting, wholesome, often humorous and, whenever possible, does some good in this little world. We believe that being good is not boring; in fact it can be filled with delight! And living purposefully and creatively can be a force for unity.
Chloë Filson writes this blog for funzies whenever time permits. Otherwise she works and studies in publishing, does community-building volunteer work in her neighbourhood, bikes around town (Vancouver, these days), drinks too much tea, and dabbles in writing, graphic design, calligraphy and illustration. She also likes to sing in choirs. Check out some of Chloë’s creative work if you like (this is the lame precursor to what will one day be a cool online portfolio…).
STEPHANIE DOIG is a clever and amusing person who blogs here (about books and other things) and Tumblrs here (about other things and books). You can also find her on Twitter (she’s a funny lady!). Stephanie is based in Toronto and also works in publishing.
We have also published a number of pieces by guest writers and artists. Frequent guest writers include MARY BOROVICKA and BRIAN POWERS. SAMUEL BENOIT also comes up a lot.
Please note that this blog is personal; it is not affiliated with any company or organization. This whole mess is of our own doing. Mostly Chloë’s.
